Liliana Angeles:
Swimming is my passion.
I’ve been swimming since I was 3 years old and got to represent Mexico, my home country, in international swimming events.
Open water is my specialty, I won 1st place in Florida in the Pan-American Games and 10th place in Montreal in the World Masters Championship.
After that, I decided to come to Australia to pursue my sports management career.
I got introduced to triathlons, I signed up to the 2XU Olympic distance race and after taking 2nd place, a new addiction started in me!
I did my first 70.3 Ironman in Western Sydney in November 2019 and have signed up for Melbourne 70.3 in November 2022.
I am excited to get back into triathlon training and pass on my knowledge and skills to members.
